The Mexican red clay napkin holders are hand crafted and painted by the regional artisans of the area. The process of making these involves mixing the clay, molding the napkin holders and baking them in ovens made with bricks. The material is very delicate and in some instances the clay cracks during the process and item may not be symmetrical.
This napkin holder has the shape of the traditional mugs made of clay. It’s decorated in a green flower design and has an opening in the middle to place napkins at your table.
