Ibarra Imports was born in 2020 during a time of uncertainty, change, and unexpected opportunity.

Founded by Lilyana Ibarra after being laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of seeing the moment as a setback, Lilyana used it as a chance to build something meaningful—rooted in culture, tradition, and community.

The business began locally, then grew into an online store, and eventually evolved into something bigger: a marketplace. As Ibarra Imports expanded, it became clear that there were so many talented Mexican artisans, small brands, and cultural creators who needed a place to be seen.

That need is what inspired the creation of TheMexHub.
